On the way to work today, I noticed that Salad Works will be opening a location in Wellington Center on Chenal. I've long wanted a GrabbaGreen-type restaurant and this looks to be similar. This is a first location for Arkansas. The nearest one appears to be Irving, Texas. Saladworks

How about Ralph & Kacoo's? They are just down the road in Bossier and have other locations in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama.

I only went there for drinks. I had no idea it was a restaurant, too.

I thought Wilson's Leather went out of business 20 years ago. Then I keep seeing it at outlet malls. They always had an abundance of signs liquidators like to use, so maybe that's why I thought they'd been running the world's longest going out of business sale.

That is such an attractive building. Can't wait to see what it looks like finished.

Chico's is the owner of White House Black Market. They are closing 250 Chico's, Soma and White House Black Market stores.

White House Black Market used to be there. Don't know when it left though.

There are twice as many people in Batesville as there are in Greenbrier. Greenbrier is just minutes away from Conway where there is a Steak N Shake. The franchisee of the Western Sizzlin in Greenbrier would also like to know why there's a Steak N Shake in Greenbrier. It seems the two restaurants are under the same corporate umbrella. The franchise agreement Western Sizzlin's franchisee has states there is a mutual covenant not to own or operate another restaurant within the exclusive territory in the franchise agreement that serves steak or steak products. There's a lawsuit pending now. It makes sense why there is a Freddie's in Batesville.

Well I am shocked that there is even a Steak N Shake in Greenbrier to begin with.

I sure thought Steak N Shake in Conway would be over by David's Burgers and Hideaway Pizza. It's waaaaaay off the beaten path.

Oh, I forgot about that place. Wasn't it announced over a year ago or so? I see where it was announced in July 2018.

Direct flights are still showing on Mondays and Fridays through April 30. The direct flights disappear starting May 1 from what I can tell.

I've never had Cane's but then again I've never tried Xaxby's either.

I can't think of any time where I have eaten at Cajun's. It's never crossed my mind when thinking of places to eat. I've been there many times for the party on the deck, though. It's a great place for drinks.

Wow! I would hate to see David's leave that location as I will not go way out Cantrell when there are other alternatives closer. First, Dunkin on Shackleford. Now Krispy Kreme? Granted, I haven't been to Krispy Kreme since Dunkin opened but still... I would put La Madeleine and Zoe's on the "closing soon" watchlist.

They are. I wish there were one in the midtown area. They keep their stores and properties clean, unlike other chain convenience stores.

I really dislike the new name of Bank of the Ozarks. It's like they were embarrassed of Arkansas and took the AR out of Ozark.

Not surprising to me. I will miss their chicken wings. Hands down, the best in town.

Some time ago, if I remember correctly, there was talk about Little Rock getting three or five locations of Walk-On Bistreaux. Some time has passed and....nothing. Has anybody heard anything about future locations of Walk-On?
