  1. I think the mayor was trying to get TopGolf to locate in the Outlet Mall area. The I-40/430 interchange is in NLR. I don't know why the LR mayor would want something like that to locate in NLR.
  2. Is Maggie Moo's still there? I could see Gearhead expanding that direction. That wouldn't be a huge addition.
  3. According to the media reports, Zoe's Kitchen will close on January 26. It's been rumored on here so not really a surprise.
  4. I would never have put Lonoke County in the Top 5 median income counties in the state. And Grant County?! Wow.
  5. That looks great! I hope it spurs more development in that area!
  6. Seems an odd time to be closing (before the holidays) unless the lease runs out December 31.
  7. Oh, yes! I do recall that now thanks to the OKC discussion. It is weird that OKC to DAL is no longer nonstop.
  8. Did I miss this? Starting January 6, Southwest is bringing back the LIT-HOU nonstop flights that ceased in 2014.
  9. Is one of these the building where Tusk and Trotter is going?
  10. I had no idea there was one there. The only one I knew of was by Moe's in Ferris Plaza. Is it still there?
  11. It will fill the location between the Sprint store and Nouri in Suites B, C, & D. What a sad retail center this has been.
  12. Zoes closed? Not surprised. I went in it once and left without ordering. What restaurants in Little Rock have the most sales? I can guarantee it's not Trio's, Capitol Smokehouse, or David's Burgers. For years it was Red Lobster or McDonalds. Not sure what chain it is currently.
  13. I've never heard that applied to my area. Isn't that the area south of 630 and west of University?
  14. So what is the area west of University but east of 430?
  15. I never know whether discussion about this area goes in the West Little Rock topic or Midtown topic. I tend to think of West Little Rock as west of 430 and Midtown starting east of Mississippi. Regardless, the former Starbucks location on Rodney Parham now has a "Leased" sign out front. I see in the Plumbing Permits, it will be a Dickey's Barbecue location.
  16. It's been a while since I was in that location, but they had cut back on the free donut thing. They would still give one if asked, but would not voluntarily give one away. I think there were even coupons sent in the mail for a free donut.
  17. Krispy Kreme Donuts on Shackleford is permanently closed. Signs are being removed from the building. So what can go in there? Steak N Shake would be a nice addition to that area. Any other suggestions?
  18. They have relocated to the former American Cancer Society Building on North University.
  19. I wouldn't mind so much if there was a parking deck with shops on the ground floor, but to buy buildings just to tear down for surface parking...ugh! I'm sure that Stephens will wall the parking lot off like they did for the Capital Hotel parking lot.
  20. Slim Chickens opening a place at 16105 Chenal Parkway according to plumbing permits. Would this be a new stand-alone building or a place in the shopping center?
  21. That would be a great location for a Walk Ons.
  22. I was wondering about Walk On's recently. They announced years ago they would be opening 5 or 6 locations in the metro area. It's been a long wait.
  23. I had no idea there was a Zoe's Kitchen in Park Plaza. I've only been to the one in WLR once but never ate there. They didn't have gyros. What kind of Mediterranean/Greek place doesn't have gyros? So I went for the usual at Taziki's. Was there a Taziki's in Park Plaza? Zoe's seems to follow Taziki's.
  24. SLC, which Delta used to have, would be a start. It should serve as Delta's gateway to points westward. Other than DFW on AA, there really is no westward gateway from LIT. You either go north (ORD) or east (ATL) to go west.
