  1. Thanks for the info. Is there a record of this with the planning commission?
  2. I noticed that too. Could be a little infill building?
  3. Any planning on going to this? https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/open-house-on-gr-riverfront-amphitheater-set-for-monday/
  4. Counter point to the doom and gloom that Randy Thelan is spouting: https://www.crainsgrandrapids.com/news/restaurants-1/downtown-brunch-joint-to-offer-nightclub-vibe-without-the-late-nights/
  5. The article mentions an exterior entrance. Does anyone know where that would be?
  6. Okay, thanks for the information. I rent in a collective in this area and am always curious about what might happen with this property.
  7. Thanks for the heads up. Does anyone have a link to what they're proposing?
  8. God bless the Westside ... I live by the traffic circle at LMD and Valley and there are always tire tracks across it every time it snows. People just don't understand how to use them; half the time people just sit there waiting and the other half of the time people just blow right through it. Unless they make it more substantial, I say get rid of it, it's not making anyone safer.
  9. Ahh, that's right, now I recall. Thanks for bringing this back up.
  10. Couple more photos of the little apartment/townhouse project on the SW corner of Sibley and Seward. Looks like living space on the first floors with bedrooms upstairs. Does anyone remember seeing the renderings for these? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Flying out in early February, the main ramp was super full, flights full and airport very busy. That being said, time from parking to people watching at gate = 11 minutes; that's pretty clutch.
  12. As someone who used to bike through this corridor quite a bit, I now avoid it like the plague. It's not super great to walk through either, too many people crossing wherever, distracted uber/uber eats/grubhub drivers just stopping in bike lanes whenever they please, etc ... small rant over ...
  13. As a queer person that frequents many local breweries, their 'participation' signals that any type of hate/intolerance won't be permitted and that me an my friends are welcome there.
  14. They posted a little walk through of the construction site on their Instagram account. After many, many months of no progress they're really going to town on that building.
  15. Yep, a Bazzani/Cellar project.

  17. Definitely have been to some fun warehouse /rave parties in those buildings. Interesting spaces and the place is a labyrinth.
  18. A few blocks west of Seward on Sibley there’s a nice little infill project going on, in what had been an empty lot. Looks to be two 2-3 bedrooms apartments. Great to see more of these popping up around the neighborhood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing how it comes together.
  20. Couldn't agree more. I know there's supposed to be a moonshine bar/distillery taking over the space eventually but haven't heard anything for months.
  21. Nonla Burger opened their doors yesterday and damn those burgers look tasty. Also, a spiked root beer float, sign me up! https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/nonla-burger-celebrates-gr-grand-opening-with-support-and-love/
  22. I drove by the 'new location' a week or so ago and it doesn't look like there's any movement/activity in the space. There could be some work being done that isn't visible from the street but looks pretty standstill.
  23. It's Rad Bagels, an offshoot of Field and Fire. Looks like they'll make waffle sandwiches too. https://grbj.com/news/restaurants-1/rad-bagels-coming-to-downtown-market/
