  1. Matt, you're right. When John Ball merged with SWAN, the boundaries were redrawn to extend north all the way to the highway. I don't think the city has the updated information on their website. That being said, the Alabama St project, is clearly a shared interest to both SWAN/JBAN and WGNO and should enhance the area.
  2. I believe its going to be a small construction company/contractor office. I'll have to check my records this weekend.
  3. Looking forward to what you guys do with the space. The Instagram photos and clips are great. Keep 'em coming.
  4. That makes more sense. The renovation looks pretty interesting. Hopefully the food is intersting too.
  5. I believe the old Kopper Top is going to be Blue Dog Bar and Grille. They've got a facebook page with some photos of the renovation taking place. I've heard something about the Pub Kraal place but can't recall where that will be going.
  6. Thanks for the news corvine. I wish it was just a rumor, I've heard similar rumblings and would absolutely hate to see this place leave East Hills. I am coomforted that if they move they will still be open somewhere in metro GR and the city will still have access to their creative cuisine. ...damn I like that place, I really hope they stay. ... ... and secure their liqour license
  7. I'm 99.9% sure that the State of Michigan doesn't allow BYOB licenses. If Shogun does, its probably on the down low. I wish more places did that, I would probably spend more on the food and more on tip if I wasn't paying $9 per glass of wine, that I can buy at Martha's for $11 per bottle.
  8. ... that WHAT!!!??? You can't leave that hanging out there, what's up????
