  1. The Premier homies are opening up their Wealthy Street location tomorrow! https://thepremierstore.com/blogs/product/premier-fall-delivery
  2. Good thing it was empty! https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/car-crashes-into-gr-building-after-hitting-another-car/
  3. For as meh as this project has been, this corner is pretty sweet. Looking forward to riding by it this week. I'll try and snap a photo.
  4. Grain sandwich shop on Butterworth has closed. Their website says their moving their business to Allegan. Bummer for the Westside, their stuff was tasty.
  5. Oh snap! That sounds sort of serious. This bit probably belongs in the beer thread but is also food based; Greyline has closed their kitchen but is now canning one of their summer beers.
  6. Thanks for sharing. Fellow Westsider here, closer to Sibley elementary school, bummed that the ATT&T's gigabit service isn't offered over here. Can't wait to give Comcast that same atomic middle finger.
  7. Unfortunately, that space has said 'Coming Soon : Madgrub' for about nine months with no activity at the space or their online presence. Seems like it's not going to happen.
  8. I saw that last week. Almost looks like some sort of renovations but it's only a few years old. Definitely curious.
  9. I noticed this on a bike ride on Sunday. There were people sort of wandering around this area. So strange, is it a new path/part of the park or to be used for commercial purposes?
  10. Grand Central Market permanently closes. https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/ready-to-reopen-grs-grand-central-market-closes-instead/
  11. Interesting ... I'll start asking around if anyone can corroborate.
  12. The Leonard Street location too. Well, the restaurant on the south side of the street is rebranded, the bakery on the north side of the street still has the Arnie's branding.
  13. Progress as of 05/10/2020 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Great shots!! The Pantlind and Civic auditorium are looking stately and majestic.
  15. Saw this progress while on a walk downtown last week. Was surprised at the amount of activity at this site.
  16. I was just talking about this yesterday with a friend that's a cook at a local brewery and she was thinking August for her place, of course dependent on any significant medical developments. Even if restaurants/movie theaters/breweries/etc ... open but with severely reduced capacities, at a certain point it might not make sense for certain places to open.
  17. Couldn't agree more. I'll add in Winchester's hip-hop brunch.
  18. Very cool response rate tool. You can drill all the way down to census tracts. Interesting to see the response rates across the city.
  19. Confirmed a second location for Premier. Opening date TDB now ... and don't mark your calendar for a dope opening party just yet.
  20. Maybe this is just while the restaurants are closed??
  21. Ohhh, that's interesting. I'll see what the folks at the shop say. I know their landlord keeps squeezing them for higher rents.
  22. Sculpture from Project 1 about housing in GR. https://project.artprize.org/artists/olalekan-jeyifous/
