Great mixture of old and new, ornaments and simple abstraction there. Did you have a hand in that nice architectural detail story in the Pilot this morning? Some of the same places were shown.

As a bonus, here are a few pictures I took while in Philadelphia recently. Philadelphia is an amazing city (and will be my home in less than a month!)

The building on the left is where I will be attending most of my graduate classes. The vantage point for the photograph is the base of the amazing Baroque city hall in the last picture!

And a bonus bonus... an unbelievably cute picture of my dog, Carmen.

Here are a just a few more Ghent pics I took today.

I believe this is Christ and St. Luke's Episcopol Chruch which is the one making headlines lately as they want to add an addition.

A new development on Colley and Westover.

The housing stock in Ghent is simply amazing. The old and the old-er. I found even the apartment buildings to be interesting.

I actually saw the Gothe one but didn't get a picture of it (can't remember right where it was - maybe west of Colley?). So many houses and so little time. Oh ok, the pics gosscj took.

Do most of you prefer the smaller pics or size of the pics I took today? Reason being is my camera is only 3.2 mp and I find the smaller images just don't show off all the detail as I woud like.

This new development is on PA and Colonial I believe.

As a bonus I found this gem of a Fiat parked out on Stockley Gardens. I was so excited to see it. Notice how small the car is and the tires are just tiny.
