What does "connect through" BWI mean? Do you have to deplane and reboard? If so, I don't see what the big deal is. They aren't non-stop flights.

ODU is really making strides at becoming a first class university, it seems. If ODU becomes more acclaimed, Norfolk becomes more acclaimed.

Wow, a 9-story medical center with parking garage. The least they could have done was to put the garage under the tower instead of wasting all that space!

Years ago (I think somewhere around 1999) there was a developer trying to build a hotel (Holiday Inn Express, I think) right next to (or in place of) Waterside, and from what I remember the public hated the idea.

I'm all for expanding Town Point Park, but it does seem like a waste to tear down the marketplace. I'm sure we can find a solution that makes most people happy.

The mall in general is in decline, but I hope MacArthur is doing well. I think the addition of Banana Republic and the expansion of the Coach store speak volumes.
