Here's an insider tip for you downtown dwellers or workers - the 5/3 building near the swan boat rentals has a cafe on the 2nd floor.   Harvest cafe or something like that.   It's the same chef-owner that does the sandwich shop inside the Winter Park farmers market on Saturday's.    Amazing food and definitely replaced Publix and Panera for me once I learned about it.   Full breakfast options, lunch until 2-3ish and smoothies.

I work in the Landmark building. I will miss the Panera, as it added another option and we have used it to cater meetings many times. There are only so many options you can get to do catering.

 I didn't know about a cafe in the 5/3 Bank building. I will have to check that out!

We've had good luck with Java Lava for catering meetings (my office is in the BOA building). Panera is one of our backups so I'll miss it, too.

Well dang, and I thought they just resigned their lease.

So did Panera decide to leave or landlord having them leave? I'm surprised, they seemed busy.

Ooo, thanks for the tip. I'll have to check that out. The PNC building on the south side of Lake Eola has a small Daily News Too cafe/diner that's pretty good. (Or maybe I'm biased because I only work an elevator ride from it...) 

I wonder if Panera is moving to one of the new buildings downtown...?

They do well so I'm curious to see if it's a sign of a choice tenant coming in or if it could mean bigger things (East on Park) 

Terrible loss... I hope it's not due to landlord greed. Panera is one of the 3 measly restaurant chains we have in our downtown core and it's ambience, menu and price point are prefect for the Lake Eola Park location. The only way I support this move is if a Chipotle takes it's place . Or if Panera and the Starbucks in Thornton Park swap locations.

Boy could Summerlin use the boost.  If Audubon Park is the most overachieving Main Street then Thorton Park is the most under by a mile

Bungalower reporting that Cafe Annie is closing.   Wonder if it has anything to do with all of the redevelopment in the rest of that buidling (Wells Fargo, Insomnia Cookies, Hubbly Bubbly and possible brewery coming in).   Seems like they'd get more traffic with those neighbors

Will Tribridge be back in the works?

What was the Tribridge proposal?

A 2014 master plan for 211 apartments with 5500 square feet of retail.   Withdrawn a few months after submittal but still shows up on some documents from time to time as a potential project (nothing official just marketing docs for other projects)

That lot south of BOA Center is such an eyesore. A fence and dirt lot would be better at this point.

Here's an interesting thought regarding the property at the southeast corner of Colonial & Magnolia.

Great location for a new residential development. Gives me hope of Magnolia Avenue becoming more urbanized and looking like Orange Avenue does today.
