No, people want to live in downtown paying suburban rent. The cost of maintenance for a sprawling apartment complex is vastly different from a shiny high rise. That is like me wanting to find a house in 32789 for 350k or wanting a restoration hardware furniture at Ikea price. It is supply and demand, if people want to live there, they have to pay the price..

We talked about it because we can count the amount of towers being built. If it is in Miami, we wont even notice it.

I think the issue is people want to live in the city center and want to pay low rents. They can move to Metrowest and Altamonte for that kind of deal.

Funny, the "piano key side" is the side that I like and would love to see the entire building of it and remove the glass side. It is very mid century feel and impactful. But the bigger issue of this building is the combination of both and the disproportion of the entire building. It would definitly help if the narrow part is 10 stories taller. If the building does not have the "piano key side" and replaced with glass, it will look even more weired

I ate there couple of time, it is just fair. Disney has way better restaurants.

CV started out by selling us the idea of it would be Portland Heritage Square, Boston Faneiul Hall....an area with high regard in archictecture design , creative and inspiring. It was mentioned that they have special design guideline and all other grand rendering design. But in reality, there are no dedicated bike lane, entire development still extremely car centric, lousy architecture asthetic and the entire thing look like it can be anywhere close to UCF east campus/ Lake Mary office park. Orlando deserves something better. At some point, we were mentioned in the same sentence as Austin during the early 2000s, they have totally left us in the dust.
