I took this at a stop light, and wish I could have hopped out and done it properly.

I call it Perspective, and honestly hope some quality photographer noticed the sign on the lamp post and took advantage, because this one is a little dark and could be lined up better without the whole sitting in a car randomness.

and here is another shot taken moments earlier that came out better than I thought it would.

I hope you go to the parade tomorrow, and maybe this evenings "Dykes on Bikes" parade, and give us all at Urban Planet lots of your colorful photographs!

GermanArtist...The 40th Anniversary Stonewall "Pride" was indeed much fun and rather calm this year (probably because Bush is no longer President). I missed the Dykes on Bikes yet again, but did come face to face with our greatest and Honorable Mayor who looks like a movie star. What a tall, fit and handsome man! This year he decided to walk instead of ride in his car that followed behind...

What I thought would be a few photos ended up being 700+ (more than I planned), so I'd start with just a few of my favorites & post the others later in my gallery or in pictures, which might take some time...

we're in agreement. there's a "timeless" appeal about the design that fits well with 25 Van Ness, the white "Moorish-looking" bldg, next door..
