from the KJ archives but not from the vault.    Sometimes I don't think we appreciate how much construction we have in uptown compared to other cities downtowns.

By the looks of it, it was continually added onto. The back 2/3 looks like 1970s.

There was  a rendering back in the late 60s in the CO (I'm aging myself) where a 15 story "fat" addition was going to replace the Caldwell part of the building. Alas...........

nothing wrong with aging oneself.  fyi, looked into it, cuz I was bored and original building is 1927, the bulk is 1978 so I wasn't too far off.

That Bell building addition may have been the equivalent of the data center adjacent to the Convention Center.

I rented a scooter today for the first time, ever. It was great! If I didn’t like getting the exercise from my bike, I would totally sell it and get an electric scooter. Anyway, I rode around the quaint and completely affordable Dilworth neighborhood and took some pics of Churches.
