Love that photo, gsupstate! Even though we all have attempted to capture the essense of the place, I feel there is absolutely no way to actually accomplish that in a photo. There is something really special about being there in person.

Here are a few photos from Anderson, S.C., one of the several beautiful Upstate cities that is really experiencing major growth and positive change. It has a very charming old downtown as well - very photogenic. I can see how people have fallen in love with this city.

Here is a shot of the first phase of The Bookends, a mixed-use development on one end of the award-winning Spring Street Garage, located in downtown Greenville. It is LEED certified and is directly across McBee Avenue from the 5-star Peacock Hotel & Spa (check it out!), now under construction.

That's pretty cool, Rardy. I like that the bench was worked into the design of the sculpture. So it's an actual bench that people are urged to sit on? Very cool!
