That would be interesting if there was a Hawaiian/Polynesian restaurant in the area. I wonder if this could possibly have anything to do with the Marshallese assuming it's more along the line of a Polynesian style restaurant.

Springdale would be a good candidate for a Marshallese/Polynesian Restaurant. There's already a Marshallese night club, and a Marshallese grocery/retail store in Springdale.

I finally went over to the Hawaiian Restaurant off Walton today. I didn't go inside it, but to me it seemed very casual. I haven't heard of another hawaiian restaurant in the state, so this is definately something to try. Here's some pictures.

That's a possibility. The ad features here are really weird. They rely on the content of what is posted, then they advertise with topics that are most relevant to the topics.

Sassafrass in Fayetteville won't be around much longer. Just about ready to go broke and close their doors. The place has the worst sign I have ever seen. Many people drive past it daily and don't even know it is a restaurant!

Also, Gonzales Mexican Restaurant (right next door) doesnt appear to be coming back. No activity there after their fire.

A shame on both counts!

It's too bad that moving doesn't seem to be an option. Sassafras has managed to stay at that location a while but it just seems nothing is ever very successful at that location. I think they'd have better luck somewhere else. I wonder if they've considered it or now if they even have the resources to move.

Don't think Sassafrass' owner has any interest in the business. Better signage needed. It is very small, hard to read, not near the restaurant, and says "Bistro and wine bar" on it.

Insurance takes forever to get anything done. So it is still up in the air for the restaurant. Could be another month or two or never. Just depends on insurance.

The Crumpet Tea Room in downtown Rogers is closed right now. There's a legal dispute between the landlord and the owner of the building. The owner says the restaurant will reopen as soon as an agreement is made. I sure hope it opens, it would be a shame to loose one of the few cultured restaurants in the city.

There's still the Crumpet Tea Room Express on North Walton. I've always liked seeing the Crumpet Tea Room in downtown Rogers, even though I've never had a desire to visit it.

I don't doubt you at all. These restaurants are desperately needed in the Benton County area. They'd be perfect for that area, since it's right off the Interstate and next to a new mall.

Ok so that may be the same "upper level person" that told a friend of mine that a SuperTarget would be opening nearby. Target is also much needed in Benton County... even in big, bad Wal-Mart country.

I tried a new ( I think ) pizza place in Colt Square in Fayetteville called MorDour's.

I drove by it almost daily for the past couple of months and finally decided to stop in.

It it probably the overall best pizza I have ever had.

Dough, made from scratch after I ordered.

I'm a fan of thin crust pizza, but the crust on my pizza at MorDour's was just good, handmade, fresh BREAD. I could have eaten it by itself without toppings.

Toppings were very fresh. If you like fresh red onions, peppers and mushrooms, the supreme pizza is amazing here.

Nifty, kinda hippie type of place. Lots of eccentric poetry and artwork by patrons scribbled on the concrete floors.

Definitely a Fayetteville-type-o-place.

I highly recommend it. I've had it twice since Thursday.
