Good god, the MGM is one massive son of a beotch.

This may have been covered already, but did any of the casinos design their permanent structures with the possibility of future expansion in mind? The hotel tower at MGM just looks so short and stubby that they designed it with the idea of adding floors in the future. Of course, I could be way off.

Those commercials are different from casino commercials I've seen in the past. Not saying that I don't like them, they are very eye catching, but different. Probably the only casino commercial that I've seen that doesn't show a single slot machine, roulette table, card game.

A concern that I have heard from many people about the new greektown garage revolves around its size, and the time it would take to travel it by car...

I had the opportunity to ask questions to a couple of the project managers, who I was introduced to at dinner last night. I guess the ramp is designed to move traffic from the top floor to ground level in under 3 minutes during peek hours (see spiral ramp). They also said that most of the floors have lighting and signage installed, and the ramp may be open by october.
