Ah I stand corrected. In the Terrace rendering it looks like the theater is in the very bottom in the foreground. They must be selling pretty good to justify further construction.

Yeah it got a lot of press during filming. Hell, I was one of the idiots trying to sign up to be an extra in the film. The Book Caddy and Fort Street play a big role too. Also, like in The Island you can see the Penobscot quite a few times. I hope one of these times Bay will decide to film the whole movie in Detroit.

Wasnt phase 2 changed since the theater is right there? I thought original plans were to take out the theater but enough people protested so they built around it.

Really cool stuff. I had seen the Stott and Fisher buildings before, but not the Penobscot. I really like that one. I agree about the copies too, I imagine some people would fork over money to have a minature Fisher building in their house.
