These are all great shots! Yes, the view has changed a bunch from up there. It's a nice neighborhood now, and that big house they redid up there is pretty sweet. I went in there about a year ago or so.

Great shots, puskunk! I particularly love that first one - especially how the stoplight looks in the distance! It's been my experience that the cold, lonely winter nights downtown are the best for photos of this nature...as long as you can avoid the pan handlers.

Thanks everyone! As far as avoiding the panhandlers, 1am in sub freezing weather usually keeps them away. I work second shift so I go out after work to do the long exposure stuff.

Does anyone else hate that that garage takes up so much space between Liberty Square 1 &2? I wish they'd build street level retail in front of it with condos or office space above.

Oh, I'm not saying that it's unnecessary. Just perhaps not aesthetically pleasing to the eye and a bookend sort of development on the front could go a long way in extending activity toward the Bilo Center.

There appears to be plenty of room for just such a development ... or at least more retail space like the Mana Deli ... along the front of that garage on Beattie Place, that's for sure.

Definitely not. I was just kidding. The rules are one pic in the AM and one pic in the PM during a one day time period. The pics can be from anytime of the year and taken from anywhere in the Greenville metro area.
