I was admittedly a little inebriated when I spoke to Jason (the owner), but from what I remember, it's going to be a nice pub style restaurant downstairs and a bar with pool tables, dart boards etc upstairs. Also, a wide ranging selection of good beers!

It's going to be named the Pour House.

Restaurant Downstairs, bar/ lounge upstairs.

The restaurant part will be opening as a BYOB establishment by early summer, with the bar to open later in summer after a liquor license is obtained.

haha it's quite college. but you couldn't beat the prices- 22 oz beers for $3.25-4.50. nowhere else in downtown boston could you find that! and a cheap brunch too!

is the place ever going to open!? i know they said early summer (which i assume is now) but it looks like it hasn't even broken ground yet...the Miko clearance signs are still up everywhere!

On this board, impatience seems to be a virtue.

Nothing is completed on time. Its like the friend that almost everyone has that says they will arrive at a certain time and you immediately add half an hour. Whenever a project is announced, I add 3-6 months to a year at least depending on what it is. So far that has worked...

i think the deadline is still having serious financial consequences... i can't imagine the overtime they're paying to have people working 24/7, including holidays, is cheap.
