At least they are planning a future commercial/retail phase in front facing Broad Street.

If this remains true, then that would be great, although maximizing the potential of the space along Broad will be difficult via a detached/stand-alone development.

Considering how successful their other projects have been, I wish they would have gone to a 50-60 unit project and taken the building all the way to Broad with the lowest level on Broad being office condominiums.   These will be walking distance to the only grocer in the core. Seems like they would sell pretty easily.

Ahh...this looks really attractive.  It's ironic (actually pitiful) that all these fine new projects are occurring...crickets continue at the Gateway (auditorium) site.  :whistling:

Hindsight is 20/20, but that property should never have left public ownership. It would make a good site for a public building and the city is currently reevaluating many of its existing buildings and future facility needs.

I have given up thinking it will ever be a privately developed property.
