That would be a 26 story building if you put it on it's side.

Sorry I bumped all the pictures back a page with my sad attempt at humor. Here's what I was referring to.

Simply breathtaking. Not sure whether this or the Airbnb building on Main St. is more impressively wonderful

Not sure if that was sarcasm....

Hey Look! Is that the house from Up squeezed in between the Hyatt House and Olmstead?

Mountain Shore Properties, the developers behind the Hyatt House SoBro, have purchased the tiny .17 acre lot at 508 Lea Ave. (just to the west of the still u.c. hotel)  for $1.1 million.  No word as to their plans for the lot.   Since the hotel already has underground parking, there's no need for additional auto storage.  My guess is that it will become a small restaurant/coffeeshop eventually.

This screen shot from Smeagolsfree's excellent development map shows the site highlighted in teal at the center of the frame, with the u.c. hotel in red just to the right:

Noble Investments has purchased the just-opened Hyatt House SoBro for $59 million from Mountain Shore Properties.  That works out to about $272,000 per room.  Noble (which is also partnering on the u.c. Element Hotel at OneC1TY) has $4 billion in investments worldwide.
