They have a 30 foot tall wall of wine, with a lirbary style latter. The higher the wine the more expensive the wine. Anyway idea is that becuase when you order a wine everybody can see them walk up the latter to fetch your wine that more people will buy expensive wines knowing that everybody in the restaurant will know that is what they did.

Under the "dining" category Peter Lieu's is listed as "right next door." I had heard that he was opening another Asian restaurant at the Point. I wonder if that is what this is talking about? That's a lot of Chinese a within a walking distance...

Actually, I think that's in error. I suspect they're referring to Doc Chey's rather than Peter Lieu's, but I could be wrong.

We heard that the owner of Lieu's Chinese Bistro (I assume this is Peter Lieu) was planning on opening a high-end sushi restaurant in Greenville. I wonder if it will be at The Point, or elsewhere in the city like downtown?

Regardless, I agree that Staybridge Suites probably meant Doc Chey's in their ad.

That's a pretty old flyer, there. O'Charley's has already, in turn, sold that property to someone else. I don't recall to whom, but you can look it up on the Greenville County GIS site.

O'Charley's sold #4 Market Point Drive to "Poinsett Realty Fund 27." Poinsett Realty Fund 27 has since sold it to "Rhino Realty Fund LLC," whatever that is.

Regardless, that's a pretty prime piece of property. I can't imagine it going undeveloped for long.

Construction at The Point in the spot in front of Doc Chey's / Whole Foods. No sign up yet. Is it Flemings or Ruth's Chris or something else?

4 Market Point Drive still shows on the GCGIS site as being owned by "Rhino Realty Fund LLC," however, I have no idea who that is. I think the consensus has been that it's Fleming's that's going there.

All the steel framing is up for Peters newest location......not sure if it's being called Peter Lieu's or Azia.
