  1. I'm just concerned that the rising cost of materials and attention to detail are going to slow the other phases down even more. It already took forever for this phase and it still isn't complete. And this was a small potion of the complete plan. At this point they would have to keep the Italian look throughout or it will be a mess (AKA Magnolia Park).
  2. Interesting. I can't imagine the cost to break the lease at Camperdown unless they only signed a 2 or 3 year lease? Same with Altar'd State being listed here and the Sticky Fingers location, even though they have several brands. Will definitely be interesting to see how this all plays out. If anyone stops in this weekend maybe ask again? Landing Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, and Whole Foods is really going to change the retail landscape downtown. Also, Southern Tide wasn't listed as a leased tenant on the PDF so maybe that changed since then?
  3. Stopped in Southern Tide over the weekend. Their corporate office is moving from Villa Rd to this development. That's why we saw them on the site plan. The store is remaining at Camperdown.
  4. LuLulemon may have a space issue. I've been in a few times when unopened merchandise was stored under tables and once a fitting room was being used for storage. And the wall racks were packed. If growth is the reason, I'm OK with them moving. Just hoping they get a new equally popular tenant in the current spot.
  5. I noticed Altar'd State was listed as an LOI tenant on the County Square PDF. Then I saw this in GVLtoday this morning: "According to land records, the LLC tied to women's clothier Altar'd State has purchased the downtown building located at 1 S. Main Street (where Sticky Fingers is located)." Downtown is about to get really interesting...
  6. Why are some tenants assigned to the "available" retail spots. I would think they would have to be leased, at lease, or LOI to be listed on the map. Do they list tenants who are "thinking" about it or on a wish list?
  7. Along those lines I wouldn't mind seeing a Fleming's Prime Steakhouse, Maggianos Little Italy, or Seasons 52. Also, are any of the tenants re-entry's into the market?
  8. I heard from someone at Williams-Sonoma that they were trying to come back to the market. I love the Cooks Station but with Bed Bath and Beyond gone it would be nice to have more kitchen related options.
  9. To assume we need you to advise us on what information is true or false or that we need you to explain to us how to block another member is a little presumptuous. Not to mention, calling out another member to the forum instead of addressing it with them or to a specific post is tacky. Perhaps you could focus your efforts on getting some drone shots as well?
  10. I've heard from several people, one who has a friend working for this company, that https://www.ballarddesigns.com/ is going in this spot. Has anyone else heard or can someone confirm?
  11. I agree. Looks like a mix between Italy and the Alamo. However, it will probably look much better with signage, landscaping, and lighting once its finished. I'm curious if they already have any retailers interested in phase 2.
  12. My guess is that another retailer wanted that spot specifically. I also noticed the adjacent Michael Kors store that Katie’s Boutique was most recently occupying was empty as well with a sign saying they moved upstairs. Maybe whatever store that is coming in wanted both spots?? To answer your question about how Haywood can command that… I’m not sure but I was a manager at one of the specialty stores at the mall for 8 years and the mall management and Simon are incredibly difficult to work with. Our rent alone was almost $25K per month and in the slow months of January and February that’s almost a week’s worth of sales. Also Simon doesn’t have that much competition here so that may have something to do with it as well.
  13. Just left Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn. It looks like the mall wanted to increase the rent dramatically for WS and did not want to negotiate. Hinted that another retailer wanted the location. WS is profitable in Greenville and is actively looking to reopen in a freestanding location with PB. Hoping for a quick turnaround. This was from the district manager who was in the store today. However, although PB is looking for the same freestanding location their lease is not up and they will stay in the current location until the lease expires or the freestanding location is built. Hope they can find something soon. Looking at you Bridgeway.
  14. J. Crew Factory for vacant Charming Charlie's at Greenridge.
  15. Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but it looks like the Coast Apparel store across from the AC Hotel is closed. I rode by today and the lights were off and the shingle sign has been removed. I saw on their facebook page that the Augusta Rd store closed in August. Also, the brand is no longer on the Delta Apparel website that I could see. Maybe Salt Life or one of the other brands could fill the space?
