Ok, not a bad view from there. I might also add, I think 125 is the total height of the tower and the observation deck is probably 10-15 below that but...

I also note that the new Canvas tower and Gateway Building will both be visible from this angle, assuming they get built. Those will make an impression from here.

I wish it had been a clear day for you. One can easily see the Blue Ridge from the corner of Hudson and Mayberry Street on a clear day.

I’ll get drone pics again sometime next week when it’s sunny. I’ll go up 115 feet next time also to get a more accurate view from where the observation deck portion will be within the tower.

Gman, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to take all the pictures and post them for us to see.  All I do is post nonsense but you actually put in a lot of time and effort and provide a lot of info a great pics. I know we give you a hard time about you getting on negative tangents but thank for all the actual work you put in!

Not a problem.  Sorry for getting negative sometimes also. I guess I just get frustrated with how slow things sometimes progress around here with the delays we see between public and private projects. Hopefully once interest rates and inflation drop, things start to move at a faster pace.

Approximately 115 feet in height from the top of the hole. I triple checked it to make sure the height was right. Had the drone camera facing slightly down also to give a more real feel from an actual human visual point:
