There was a rendering a while back that showed townhomes located along North Laurens st from Washington St. I would think this building would wrap in front of the parking deck and hotel building

I think the comment about no service to GSP is a fair comment. The only way to get to the airport if you don't have a car is by taxi. I think a shuttle service between downtown and the airport would be a great amenity. Not sure what the ridership would be but it could be the "Build it and they will come" kind of scenario

I'm glad to see an abstract piece of sculpture for a change rather than a lifelike depiction.

Brandon Mill near Pendleton and Easley Bridge Rd is up for Re-zoning to a Planned Development at Greenville County Planning. I wonder what the plans are for that site. It's a pretty big building.

14.5 acres at corner of N. Pleasantburg and Furman Hall Road up for re-zoning to C-3 Commercial. Would be good to see. I wonder what the plans are.

SCDOT was not very accommodating on where signage could be located. Haywood Road is maintained by the state so they have say in all the right of ways near the intersection with 385. The plan was to have signs located on the off-ramps saying "Welcome to Uptown Greenville" etc. But DOT won't allow that. The intersection at Woods Crossing looks awesome with the power lines buried. They have also added the more modern looking street lights that were shown in the Master Plan which I think is an improvement. Its a good start especially with the landscaping at the interchange. Positive steps.

Looks like something is starting on that vacant piece of land that was slated for Apartments. Track Hoe on site today along with a porta a john annd there is a building permit box up. It'll be good to see this piece of property developed. I wonder if its the planned apartments or something else.

There was a rendering way back of the section of North Laurens St from the Bank of America building to Washington St that showed Townhome like structures. Maybe this is the three story base.

This will really help the surrounding area. It's maybe a mile away from the Monaghan Mill. Great to hear this is happening.

Much better option than a wal mart

The old Kyoto Express at 253 and 183 is becoming City View Pizza. I think that should work in this area. I hope its good pizza.

There is a petition from the Monaghan Revitilization Associatoin for a road diet on Smythe Street which runs in front of the Monaghan Mill. I think this has a very good chance of happening.

Old Buncombe Road paving is just about finished. Striped for four lanes - no bike lanes. Very disappointing

I just hope the trees in the rendering grow to big enough to hide the elevations. Not very exciting.

Demolition work has begun on the old US Finishing building on 253. I guess this is part of the remeduiation work that can begun now that it is a superfund site.

The old Long John Silvers/A+W at Cherrydale is undergoing a renovation. There are workers there and a dumpster out front. I wonder what it's going to be reincarnated as?

What works against Haywood Rd is that it is a State owned road. DOT has the control over what can and can't be done to improving the road etc.

Demolition work has started on the vacant lot opposite the McDonalds. I believe that is to be a Quiktrip Gas Station. That will be a good add to the area. There is also work going on in the old Labor Finders building on the other side of McDonalds. There is a sign up there sayong "The Edge" fitness center. Sorry to see them go. There angus beef hot dogs were delicious. I wonder if the hot dog king building is part of the same parcel as the vacnt parking lot next door. If so that would be a big parcel that is ripe for development.

I think this will be agreta add to the Pete Hollis Highway area. I like teh scale and composition of the buildings. Gateway Gardens
