Walk-able condo locations in Charlotte
stw52 replied to mike_fiveoh's topic in Charlotte Coffee House
Just spoke to the sales agent. 45 units. Vast majority are to be sold as owner occupier. The building can be replicated on other sites. They are hoping to build more in / around Southend) once this first site completes. -

I lived in Ashton Southend (before Southend exploded!) and would highly recommend it. I walked into uptown each day to work - great way to clear the head. -
I know this was asked before, but I didn't see an answer. Is the deck going to be screened? The rendering doesn't show one.

Maybe @KJHburg could offer some of your Charlotte photos! Build the alley into a photography exhibit dedicated to Charlotte development over the years.

Living in the take off flight path in south Charlotte, it is wayyyyy noticeably more quiet. Sad to say but a small silver lining to the current dire airline industry conditions. I can only imagine the locals uproar when flights resume saying it is loader than before.

NYC flights have resumed.

Right now it could be the Epicenter for social distancing.

And very expensive. Although i would love to see a green space here, surely it would be cost prohibitive.

Any thoughts on the seasonal CLT - DUB? Planning a trip later this summer. Ireland is not included in the ban.

Does not look to be a complete ban: https://www.dhs.gov/news/2020/03/11/homeland-security-acting-secretary-chad-f-wolf-s-statement-presidential-proclamation Today President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential Proclamation, which suspends the entry of most foreign nationals who have been in certain European countries at any point during the 14 days prior to their scheduled arrival to the United States. These countries, known as the Schengen Area, include: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This does not apply to legal permanent residents, (generally) immediate family members of U.S. citizens, and other individuals who are identified in the proclamation.

? heard from a friend today that the old MacDonalds at Park and Woodlawn is being replaced by a Chase Bank. Is this right? I find it an odd site for a new Chase location.
