  1. And by the time this is completed, the interstate probably won't change either LOL
  2. That's true, I was thinking of game attendance from a visitor teams aspect. However, the Cleveland Guardians have a fairly small market and is surrounded by a bunch of franchises too. So it's still possible for it to work in Nashville.
  3. There's complaints saying that Nashville doesn't have the population to handle a MLB expansion, but I disagree. Nashville may not quite have the population figures, however the major benefit of Nashville is how centrally located it is. Nashville is a 3-5 hour drive to 3 franchise cities such as Atlanta, St.Louis, and Cincinnati . That's not including the influential market areas involving those 3 locations.
  4. And the complaints about the city investing "tax payers money" into mass transit and affordable housing is too expensive. However the GOP convention wants us to pony up 100 million and then shut down most of the CBD and downtown area for 32 days isn't?
  5. Nashville before the creation of Percy Priest lake "Reservoir". I wonder what Nashville would look like today without Percy Priest lake. Would Nashville have been more dense and populated where Percy Priest sits? http://assets.midnightcheese.com/images/stones-river.jpg http://assets.midnightcheese.com/images/percy-priest-lake.jpg
  6. The crazy thing is that there's still room to grow, but the infrastructure is the problem. It's a couple decades behind.
  7. Rutherford Co. will eventually need some kind of inner loop. The population is reaching 400k+ in the next decade. At that rate, I don't know if the traffic within Rutherford Co will be manageable.
  8. Hopefully they do some revitalization to this area, it's nearly dead. Maybe they can turn this area into cool springs 2.0
  9. The hill and high elevation of that area kind of blocks the view from the rest of the skyline. The capital hill area is definitely lacking when comes to development, at least comparing to the rest of the city.
  10. So Nashville's metro could have in actuality been off by a few 100k population during the 2020 census?
  11. The population census metrics seems off for the Nashville metro. I wonder if this has a connection to the metrics.
  12. 700'-750' version would have been nice if built, especially with a spire. We're seriously in need of a high-rise with a spire. These lego blocks are nice for infill, but it doesn't bring much character to the skyline.
  13. The thing is, was the CC the catalyst of our growth? Would we still have grown as quickly if we never built the CC?
  14. Nike has the right idea, not like H&M I don't get Swedish companies. Nashville = Tourism = Money. I guess they just don't like Nashville.
  15. Last night while heading to downtown Nashville from Murfreesboro, I see that the "smart corridor panels" are finally up. I'm still skeptical, but lets see how "efficient" it really is.
  16. With how fast Gallatin and Hendersonville is growing, either 31E or Vietnam Veterans will eventually need an expansion.
