I can see this area being something similar to Bourbon street in New Orleans.

Wow a 3 story difference. Again with the ridiculous height restrictions. Seriously it's just 3 stories. How is that going to affect anything?

Never understood how wearing a mask became political....

Looks like Atlanta's growth is slowing down a bit? I think the insurgence of Nashville this past decade might be taking a piece of the growth percentage.
-
Tbh, I never understood either. Shelbyville is about an hour and 10 or minutes out, compared to Clarksville 45-50 mins.

Surprisingly, Tennessee is fairly diverse on the 2020 census in comparison to a lot of other states.

Wow, that's crazy how much of change the skyline went through. Ironically, the interstate hasn't changed much since... -
I like the way Nashville is heading, but we definitely need a few more 600-800 footers. Then maybe a couple 850-1000 footers. In the future, Nashville is going to be pretty dense, but stubby

In a decade or so we'll have as many skyscrapers as Dallas with the overall height of the buildings albeit shorter. -
I never had Magoos or McDougals, but the value at Raising Cane's is good for what you pay for. The chicken may not be the best in town, but still fairly decent. It's the combination of the sauce, the Texas toast (aka garlic bread), and the chicken is what makes it great.

Rumors are, we might be finally getting a Raising Cane's.

Wow, I didn't know the Music City Star connected that far out.... Transit is definitely possible.,,, Especially with the routes highlighted in green, we could have a good use for the current existing railroad tracks. I don't why there's such an anti thesis against mass transit. Nashville doesn't even have to build new tracks, we could just use the existing ones and save some money, and maybe in the future we could expand... That'll help out a whole lot.... -
Nashville's FAA height restrictions are so ridiculous. "Hey building this will make our lives better and more efficient . Meanwhile, the FAA, too bad it's 1.23 cm too tall, we can't build it."
-
Yeah, that's true. But the connection isn't continuous compared to 840 or an interstate type of corridor. 109 has this awkward intersection inbetween Sweetwater Ave and Airport road. Then 109 has another awkward branch off onto 25. A continuous interstate system by expanding 840 would have been more efficient.

The Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Lebanon, and Gallatin areas could really benefit from the densification of the 840 corridor in that area. Maybe not so much the connectivity to Franklin, because of the hilly geography. It's still possible for the portion that connects to Franklin to develop, but the cost of living/homes/taxes/infrastructure would be higher. The areas east and north east of Murfreesboro is definitely doable. The land is flat and the plus of being close to 840. Only if TDOT connected 840 upwards to either Gallatin or at the most I65N, it would have help spur some development in those areas. Also, building 840 upwards to I65N or Gallatin could have created more development near the Music Star.

Is this Tennessee's only fuel pipeline?

I used to live in Dallas for awhile, even though their transit system is subpar, their interstate system is phenomenal. Yeah, there's still traffic during rush hour, but at least you had the option to choose alternate routes that doesn't deviate too much from the original time. Nashville, needs to either have a better transit system, our a better interstate system. From the looks of it, we may be leaning towards the interstate option. They can't keep band-aiding the issues. I don't know, but instead of having a full north loop, maybe we could just have a half loop that splits from Clarksville south to 840 near Dickson and then a North Eastern to Eastern corridor that connects from I-24 North to Springfield-White house-Gallatin-Lebanon?

Taco Bell Cantina is finally opened on 2nd ave. There's live music . They are also a flagship restaurant so you get "specialty" menu items, including "mixed" drink options.

The Chinese restaurant, Golden Coast turned into an all you can eat hotpot/Japanese BBQ place. I went there this pass weekend and the food was pretty good. https://www.yelp.com/biz/shabu-shabu-nashville

I tend to disagree. I think it'll be close to the top 20, in at least 20 years, if not 10 years. The proximity of other large cities do factor in, but it's a bit of a skewed assessment. Major cities in the Northeast have several hubs and they're fairly close to each other. (Philly, NYC, Baltimore, DC, etc.) Not including 2020, because of you know the pandemic and stuff, but In 2019 Nashville was ranked 31st busiest U.S. airports by total passenger traffic. In the future I can see Nashville ranking possibly in the low 20s, especially if we end up getting more international flights.

I always wondered why didn't Wilson county grow nearly as much as Williamson, Montgomery, and Rutherford county. The land is pretty flat, close distance from Nashville , and the Music City Star is located there. I don't know but if I had a real estate business that area would be a prime location. Wouldn't it just be simple as to build out the areas near the train stations?
