As a cancer survivor, I'm stoked that this is moving forward...the park will be awesome (if built as designed). And replacing the "cheese grater" will be awesome (my dogs agree).

Does anyone know what grocery chain is going in at Duncan Chapel and Old Buncombe, it's been rumored to be a Walmart Neighborhood Market but is anything confirmed on this?

The Swamp Rabbit Facebook page says replacement of the metal grate bridge connecting Falls Park and Cleveland Park was part of the TIGER grant which we unfortunately didn't get. Don't know if that stops the project or they look for alternative funding. (My dog hates that bridge)!

We can argue that the statewide law is too lenient but for those of us that travel a lot, it's advantageous to have a single law that applies statewide. Complying with a patchwork of conflicting ordinances is cumbersome.

The old "20 Shades of Green" undergoing the terminal renovations now has a sign for "Crepes on Main". Hopefully it will be like Mon Amie in Spartanburg.
