Page Middle School is getting a huge update too. I live right next to The Grove. It's insane how fast things are growing. McDaniel Farm/Estates, Arrington Estates, Falls Grove, The Grove... and a new community across 840 from Arrington Vineywards. Lots of property for sale too. This area is exploding. Soon we will have TWO amphitheaters off 840 between I-65 and 41A.

I bet Nash SC won't be the only one. I'm not sure how the NHL and NBA will be able to finish. One team has to drop because of COVID... then perhaps another. Then another... Big Ten will do "conference games only" in the Fall. The sporting "house of cards" is starting to tumble.

I drive by this daily. It's totally moving at a snail's pace. Even the principal laughed a how there seems to be about only 3 people working on this project. The roads and everything are a complete and total mess on Arno. They need to pick up the pace.

#Density. Once they build on Ragland's lot (one day) that will be a fine, dense city district.

I actually asked TDOT that question. Because of the rolling hills some of the trucks end up slowing way down to 55 mph chugging up the hills. (Between Arno and 65). They said they had no plans to widen 840. Obviously that can (and will) change eventually. Personally I would love to see TDOT work on 65 North of Nashville and make it three lanes all the way to KY.

And thus will be born, the "Save our Tiny East Bank Park & Parking Lot D" group to fight it every step of the way.

That's actually a good point. Vegas teams will really benefit from tourism and casinos comp-ing tickets to hockey and football games. Baseball could work in the same way if they can cater to the tourists. When I look at the tourists downtown in the summer, having a baseball game at night would be a great event for them to head to then come back to Broadway for more drunken stupor. Perhaps the team has a "bachelorette party section" in the stands. Could be a nice draw from conventions too. Having a baseball stadium walking distance would be cool. But hey, if it's fully funded by private funds... why not?

Economic Conditions - Nashville, TN, U.S., Global

Like you, I go when the crowds are low so I can avoid the people as much as possible. I wipe everything down and do the best I can. I want the gyms to stay open because I need to get rid of these COVID love handles. -
That exit is going to explode soon. Will be unrecognizable in the next 5-10 years.

Since WillCo went on the required mask, my gym is asking that everyone wears a mask at all times *except* for when they are working out. So, walk in with a mask... back and forth from the locker room with a mask... take mask off when working out... put it back on when you're done. They're doing their best to stay open. Everyone I have seen has been very good about wiping equipment and machines down. But hey, if one puts their fingers in their mouth after handling a barbell, maybe they deserve whatever happens next. COVID may be the least of their worries. -
Sadly, I agree. You think Tampa Bay wants to play if Brady has to sit out for two games because he gets COVID? Teams are dropping out in all leagues. College FB schedules are having to change too as some smaller schools are dropping out. I know Western Michigan had to modify their schedule.

Yikes! Not sure who to give the photo credit to but the Franklin FD tweeted this. This happened in Berry Farms. Couldn’t fathom this happening in Nashville. (No injuries)

So my opinions are restricted to the city/county I live in? Ah. Ok. I don't recall complaining about all the Davidson County plates that poured into WillCo/Cool Springs/Franklin when Nashville stayed in lockdown. But, given your ridiculous "Build a Wall Around Davidson" attitude, you're not even worth my time anymore. -

What does that have anything to do with anything I just said? And btw, College Grove is in Williamson County. Read up, masks are required starting tomorrow. -

Serious question... if masks work and having thousands of people shoulder-to-shoulder in a protest is "fine" (as long as they are wearing masks), why not move to phase 4 with the understanding that everyone has to wear a mask? Why jump back to phase 2 AND require masks? I think a lot of frustration is "ok, people can gather in any quantity they want as long as they're wearing a mask except for businesses, churches, etc. You all have to be at 50%". That's what I don't understand. I believe masks work. So, everyone wear them and move to a phase where people can gather. Whether its in a protest or on a lake. -
The communters park in Lot B, A and E over by Woodland and Russell St. That's where we would pick up the shuttles to the various stops in the CBD.

So this won’t hurt the stadium development? It says the contract is invalid.

The sun sets so far in the NW now that I have to get it with the traditional angle. But Nashville certainly was beautiful last night. -

Took this last night. Can’t believe how much of the Bridgestone building is parking. I can’t remember how many levels of parking are below ground, but it’s significant. And with this imagine showing how many are above ground, it’s a wonder they have enough office space! -

Got too windy today. Will have to get out another day. Wanted more shots from around the city. These are from Metro Center and Vandy. -

Heading back out today over Percy Priest to get some skyline shots. The weather is absolutely incredible. -

I think the humidity is dropping big time the next few days which means "no haze". I am going to Percy with the drone and I will see if I can emulate that Nashville skyline pic -
Franklin, if planned out differently, could have been like another Buckhead with large towers and whatnot. But on the other side... when you drive on 65S from Brentwood and approach Cool Springs, notice that you can still see the rolling hills. Cool Springs is in a bowl of sorts and the hills are pretty. Without restrictions, we may not get to see that beauty.

Ok! After some practice at home I took the drone downtown. I didn’t get too daring since a helicopter was flying ahead and lots of sirens were coming out. I lifted from several different locations. Hope you enjoy! I hope to get back downtown soon. (Lost some resolution when uploading. Selected “Large” instead of “actual size)
