C'mon, members talk about new crane sections and pieces of facade...can't someone get a perspective of the part of the elevated roadway (longways) where construction is presently taking place? Just curious.

Other than a pretty website, does anyone have an update on Brooklyn Village? This may be the wrong thread to ask this question. Haven't heard much about it lately.

Can' t imagine that anyone actually has a pic of the old Mozingo Tire Store that was on this property before the food trucks and the market but I'd love to compare before/afters.

Thanks for the pic (with the special added attraction of the different perspective of the skyline). That L-shaped Duke building ........I lived in Charlotte when that bldg was constructed (1 arm built before the other) . It was ugly then and didn't improve.

Can anyone with access to a photo-drone get a new aerial pic of the progress of the new NCDOT Locomotive & Railcar Maintenance Facility being built on the former CP&F property? It seems to be pertinent to the CGS timeline.

Just curious. Does anyone have any info about whether this giant Duke Energy $14 bil. infrastructure modernization will include some more utility undergrounding? I can just picture how much nicer South End would look without the overhead cables. Just hoping.

I realize that every business publication has their favorite choice for HQ2 but I am damned if I can find any source outside of Charlotte that gives us a rat's chance of landing this gem. If anything at all holds us back it would be the lack of mass transportation. Not everyone wants to live along the BLE.

Additionally, Crescent buys property all over town; why in the world would they not make an effort on such an integral part of a mult-project like Tryon Place will be? Kinda reminds me of the hotel in Atlantic City completely wrpping around that little old lady's beach house.

Not being privy to any skinny on this other than the CO, CBJ or here, it seems interesting to me that Crescent refuses to purchase 600 South College (a significant chunk of this block) then Asana steps in and is willing to pay the price. I mean who is the better businessman?

Didn't Asana purchase 600 South College Street, home of James, McElroy and Diehl, PA, the southwest corner of Stonewall & College, the same block as Tryon Place? Again I ask: Since Asana has become the retail leasing agent for the Tryon Place project will 600 South College be included in the Tryon Place design?

So I'm a little confused....if Asana has purchased the last remaining tract on the Tryon Place block along with entering into a leasing agreement with Crescent to lease all retail in Tryon Place (and Crescent Stonewall Station) wouldn't it make since for Crescent and Asana to redesign the Stonewall/CollegeSt side so that it all fits together??

I love this angle. You managed to put the "candy cane" videocam in the foreground of The Vue. It makes it look like there are 2 "handles" on the Charlotte skyline. Nice work.

This is slightly off point. Just wondering if anyone has access to new construction pictures beyond the airport website. Also what is the status of the Little Rock Road connection to the new terminal entrance?
