Not being negative. Just stating a fact. I don’t see any major projects starting construction downtown for a while. Ahhh yes…let’s be grateful for high inflation and interest rates. I am soo grateful. At least my savings account and certificate of deposit are doing well thanks to a high APY so there is some good news I guess.

Inflation is soaring again. Pretty much zero chance the Federal Reserve lowers interest rates anytime soon. I don’t see this one starting construction at all this year if ever.

For April 12th inbound: All seven ATL-GSP flights with Delta sold out. All three LGA-GSP flights with Delta sold out. One of the two DTW-GSP flights with Delta sold out. Three of the nine CLT-GSP flights with American sold out. All three DFW-GSP flights with American sold out. Two of the three DCA-GSP flights with American sold out. ORD-GSP flight with American sold out. Two of the three PHL-GSP flights with American sold out.

Another all time record for number of airports out of GSP and only one short of AVL. I know we complain sometimes about AVL but that airport doesn’t have non-stop direct service to BNA, BDL, IAH, LAX, DTW, HVN, PVD, and MHT like GSP does. They don’t have Southwest, Avelo, or Breeze and have only landed one new destination this year which is MCO with Allegiant. Love seeing this aggressiveness from GSP over this past year instead of just rolling over and dying like CAE and GSO have done.

Anybody who thinks that proposed office building is going to get built anytime soon if ever is fooling nobody but themselves. Just look at the latest inflation report that came out today. Yikes.

True but you have to remember that Southwest is not just starting GSP-BNA for people to fly to Nashville as their final destination but also because that airport is basically becoming a hub for Southwest (over 60 non-stop direct destinations) just like HOU, MDW, DEN, DAL and BWI have. A lot of people will be utilizing this new route for connecting flights.

BNA-CVG also starting with Southwest June 4th once a day seven days a week.

Thought there would be a little bit more excitement about GSP landing BNA again. Guess not. Tough crowd.
