110 East: 23 story Tower by Stiles/Shorenstein
Matthew.Brendan replied to CLTProductions's topic in Charlotte
Why did they not build the upper office portion all the way across the parking deck? Is that going to be outdoor park space? This amount of parking seems obscene for 13 floors of office plus retail on the ground floor. I know it's beating a dead horse but this angle really puts it in perspective. Would love to know the actual numbers of area sqft for parking versus office+retail. -

is it just me or is that perspective of the front top corner all sorts of wonky? -
Can we get a picture? I won’t be uptown for a while to check it out in person. Thanks!

What year did the cabaret open? -
Nice to see Oakhurst get some actually nice retail upgrades and not this crap that has gone in at the intersection of Wendover/Monroe. Gives me hope that the recently for-sale Sir Gus Beef lot will get something a little better than this:

Tell me what's wrong with building affordable housing here? Park space, restaurants, and apartment buildings. I really don't understand how the city has spent years to arrive at a sports facility?

lol, looks like a perfect impromptu parking lot to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2 WFC would be an awesome candidate honestly. Great location if I was going to live uptown.

Charlotte suburban development in South Carolina
Matthew.Brendan replied to rancenc's topic in Charlotte
No that's exactly what I was pointing out. I believe the ~400 acres is that spot to the left of 274. (It's named Daimler Blvd - must have been a expansion that never went through. I think they have a plant elsewhere in the area) So yes the datacenter being literally across the street from Catawba Nuclear station (generating capacity approx total 2.2 MW split between two units) I'm sure has its advantages. I wonder what kind of load it will ultimately draw. -
