That said, as much as I love the view of the Charlotte skyline from Truist Field, the upper deck view from Busch Stadium is simply a stunning site in person.

Obviously, this isn't a "Charlotte Photo of the Day",  but it's an absolute iconic view of downtown and the Arch.

The Gateway Arch is awesome, but if we had an MLB ballpark, or an NFL one with a slightly open end zone, we could blow that out of the water. Imagine a stadium on Levineland...

Well sub CP&F.  Houston and Toronto face a similar direction.

Agree. Really wish the church would sell their trapezoidal parking lot. It’s such an eyesore right now but has so much potential. They could work with the developer to bury the parking like The Green and have dedicated spaces for the church on the weekends or something. Also, a long long time ago, it was mentioned that the Vue’s L shaped parking lot was potentially developable. 
 

In too good of a location to stay a parking lot forever. Everyone has a price.

Agree. Really wish the church would sell their trapezoidal parking lot. It’s such an eyesore right now but has so much potential. They could work with the developer to bury the parking like The Green and have dedicated spaces for the church on the weekends or something. Also, a long long time ago, it was mentioned that the Vue’s L shaped parking lot was potentially developable.

Who owns the building on the corner of the property? After Hall House and Polk I can't imagine that one gets saved either, so they'll have that entire lot to build on.

Its owned by the Church next door, who will develop it on their own with a partner at some point. They have done some internal work on masterplanning, and they want to retain parking for their flock, and get some sort of community space out of it.

I would think Childress Klein would be a great partner after their work with the Methodist church in Southpark with their Apex project.  Build high rises on this block with centralized parking free to churchgoers on Sundays and other times.  Maybe even a huge play area for their day care atop the deck in the center of the block.  Save that professional building on W Trade too.  It will happen one day.
