  1. Uptown has gotten much worse over the last 5-7 years. I lived uptown in 4th ward and never saw what I see today. Shooting were rare, not nearly the amount of homeless that there is now. It was clean and very safe. The city and county leaders need to do better!
  2. i'd say 5-6 stores. In the clt metro.
  3. City and county need to get out of the way! Sell and let the market handle the rest! Peebles and others hold the land hostage until they can sell for max profits.
  4. Is there any kind of additional screening planed?
  5. I was at the Bickell City Centre yesterday and it depressed me that Legacy Union was supposed to be a similar concept. Maybe at the Iron Yards...sigh.
  6. I had some vendors come into Charlotte yesterday from Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Detroit and they all commented how nice our airport is. I didn't solicit any feedback from them on their thoughts...came out in the course of our conversation. A, B, and E at peek travel times can be a mess, but the facilities and amenities are above average.
  7. Wow...that loss hurts! Any chance it comes back to happening?
  8. Not sure if the video on the Queensbridge Collective site is new, but I hadn't seen it. It's well done. Human and CGI/AI content merg. https://queensbridgecollective.com/
  9. What was intended use of this building when constructed?
  10. When are they going to break ground on this project?
  11. BK Partners puts portion of Brooklyn Village site that it bought in July up for sale.
  12. The area around this building will eventually be redeveloped with height, so this building will blend with its neighbors over time.
  13. Drove by the northwood ravin site at the met….looks like this project has commenced.
  14. I would say Charlotte #'s are even better since covid.
  15. I believe there is a parking deck that is adjacent to 277.
  16. Hell to the no! Sell the land and invest the proceeds in affordable housing now. The longer the city and county allow these properties to be held up in perpituity the less return on their/our investment we are going to get. Housing is only going to get more expensive if we do nothing and this property (and others) is major missed tax revenue because these are essentially dead assets.
  17. Ridiculous....Why would the City/County agree to such terms? Due Diligence terms in the private sector is typically less than 6 months depending on the deal.
  18. Is this project dead? If so, the city needs to get out of the development business or the lack there of.
  19. When is the apartment and office building on mint going to get started?
  20. Maybe the large lot on Tremont across from Pins Mechanical?
  21. How many cranes do you think they will need for this project? Its a sizeable site and project.
