Not sure why they needed to rip down all the old crappy facade, just to wrap the whole building (brick and all) in dryvit, in those great colors too. Way to go HDC.

Like anyone would have actually put in anything of substance on that block anyway. There's a ton of free space on Broadway that's not next to 95. A nice business would never have located there.

I noticed last night that the Lawton Movers building on harrison st which was to be condos now has "260000 OBO" added to the for sale sign in peel and stick mailbox letters.

InQuest Technologies is moving into their new HQ at 300 West Exchange Street. They are moving from Southborough, MA and have a payroll of about 20, but growing to 50 in the next year or so.

Work on the Carpenter Street Mill is progressing steadily, I usually drive by on my way home from work so I haven't observed it in depth. But they've replaced most of the windows, I've seen new metal studs on the interior, brick repairs, repairs to the smaller building attached to the east of the main brick structure (I think they re-clad the exterior), and they've done some site work.

It's a pretty big complex, I'm curious to see what exactly will end up there.
