Greenville Photo of the Day

That reminds me...you may definitely want to watermark your photos...somebody (not naming names) has been "borrowing" them for use on other forums. And as much as I want to help promote Greenville, I prefer to reserve the right to give permission for my intellectual property to be used in such a way. :whistling:

Amen to that! :D

Thanks for the heads up, RT. If you have links to those other forums, I'd like to see them. I'm more flattered than ticked off, as long as I get credit for the shot. Thanks to everyone else for the kind words.

I was playing around with an old 1950's vintage Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens attached to my new Nikon D50 DSLR. It had to be full manual with no light meter - shoot-preview-adjust-shoot again. I'd never try it with film.

London was great, but hot as blazes.

This is obviously not a new photo, but I don't have any with me right now. The reason I posted this one is because the Moonlight Classic Movie Series will be starting back up a week from today (next Wednesday). It really is a fun experience for everyone and the weather should be excellent, unless it rains.

Though this picture is technically not taken in Greenville, the BMW homecoming brings tourist $ into Greenville since the host hotel is the Embassy Suites on Verdae. This picture was taken at the BMW factory this morning around 6:30AM. These cars are lined up to get the best choice of parking spaces for the panoramic photo. I got here at 5:30 and I'm halfway back in the second line.

I ended up in the front row for the panoramic. :D

:shades:

It's cool to see all of the roadsters in town again for homecoming! There are more of them on the roads and streets around Greenville this evening than there are bicycles...and that's saying something!
