Strolling along the boardwalk last night, it was nice seeing how vibrant and comparable the resort district is looking compared to other major resort towns.

Saw this on Facebook…the crowd from Something in the Water. Even with rain delays and cancellations, I had an amazing time.

I did get the picture of Pharrell on stage with Busta Rhymes and Diddy. No drama, no major incidents, just everyone having fun at a big block party on the beach! This is great for the city and the region.

Hello VA Beach first time here in 20 years.  I do remember Mount Trashmore and the Town Center (and that has really grown a lot  into a downtown very nice work by Armada Hoffler)   The Town Center really does serve for a downtown for the rest of the city aside from the resort areas with its performing arts center, unique retail, hotels, offices and apartments and condos.

I will call these photos Va Beach the resort district.  I drove all  the way up Atlantic Ave from Rudee Inlet to the northern end where the homes/duplexes begin.  And Watermans was good seafood this evening.   Saw some new apartments near 30th St I think.

Went up to bayside northside Chesapeake beach side of VB.   Like to look at ships coming in and did not disappoint both Naval and container ship.    Drove back down through Great Neck and saw the tornado damage very narrow path but devastating for those in it.   Over and under the Lynnhaven River inlet bridge.

from the Resort district and boardwalk to Sandbridge to the Town Center today.    I knew Sandbridge had lots of SF homes but was surprised to see fairly large mid rise condo projects there.  Couple of different angles of the Town Center today.  (whats next for that project and where?)  Had one of the best breakfasts in VA according to Food Network and Southern Living at Pocahontas Pancake House and it was busy!
