Heading up old US 29 towards Kannapolis, looks like Rogers Lake Rd will be rerouted onto a new bridge over 29 and the train tracks, maybe over Ridge Ave as well.  On one hand it is nice to not have to deal with at-grade crossings, but man sometimes it feels like it's getting so much more inconvenient to get around because there are a continuously decreasing number of track crossings.

New development could be in the works for the Rowan County town of Faith!

downtown Kannapolis today.  It was popping as it is prom season and lots were downtown.  Stadium Lofts overlooking the stadium is nearing completion and upfits on the new restaurant and team store on the ground floor.  Mobile crane up at the 7 story 200 Main St apartment building the next one to deliver after the Stadium Lofts.  New food hall in the old bank downtown called The Bank.   Notice how the city of Kannapolis extended the sidewalks for additonal seating on  Main St across from the Amtrak station.

also checking out the Lansing Melbourne webpage who is building all the apartments in downtown Kannapolis they are planning an 18 story apartment tower!  I am sure it will be the last one to be built but the design is out there and the land secured.
