One of the first commercial tenants has been announced for the 1 story 2311 12th Ave. South project:  The Salty, which is a Miami-based donut and coffee brand.  This will be their first Nashville location.

Great idea , sort of like The Diner @ 3rd & Demonbreun.

Love it! With each floor named for their different levels of heat.

As the menu goes (and I've had only the medium (that was HOT enough!). I will say that the "Southern" is very very good, and the Mild is excellent.

From their website...

Southern

"Everyday"
Heat
Levels

Mild
Medium
Hot!

"Enthusiasts"
ONly!

Damn Hot!!
Shut the
Cluck Up!!!

I was thinking more like:

  • 6th: locals lounge
  • 5th: buffer floor
  • 4th: transplant dining area
  • 3rd: kitchen
  • 2nd: tourists
  • ground: ride-share pickup and baggage check
  • sub-basement 15: bachelorettes squealing over how hot their mild chicken is

😂😂😂

What I want to know is what is on sub-basement levels 1 through 14?  Some sort of space age sound insulator perhaps?
