One of the first commercial tenants has been announced for the 1 story 2311 12th Ave. South project:  The Salty, which is a Miami-based donut and coffee brand.  This will be their first Nashville location.

The Midtown location of Hattie B's Hot Chicken is planning an expansion. It has been issued a permit for commercial building rehab, according to Metro records. The local chain’s first storefront, located at 112 19th Ave. S., is undergoing renovations to take over the attached tenant space and expand into the entire building.The attached tenant space, with an address of 1816 Broadway, was formerly home to Gigi’s Cupcakes which closed in February 2020.

The restaurant space will increase by 820 square feet — an additional 678 square feet of porch dining space and 142 square feet of service space. The renovations will allow space for 46 more guests in the fast-casual restaurant.

Nashville-based CDP Architecture is leading design for the project.

They should tear it down and cover up the Fallyn wall (or the Wallyn) with a six-story hot chicken emporium. Then maybe there finally won't be a line!

As the menu goes (and I've had only the medium (that was HOT enough!). I will say that the "Southern" is very very good, and the Mild is excellent.

Multiple high-profile fashion retail brands — including New York-based jeans brand Rag and Bone, global fashion brand Alice and Olivia, and California-headquartered women’s clothing label Jenni Kayne, Hero, La Vie Style House, Lele Sadoughi, Mejuri, PAIGE and Oliver Peoples. In addition, two restaurants will be announced at a later date. Some of the retailers are slated to begin operations in early September, with the others to open through early 2024. The restaurants will open in the third quarter of 2024.
