  1. Yeah, still a very bleak corner but did you Photoshop all the cars out? I think Martha's Vineyard owns that form gas station on the SE corner. Also, I think someone is still living in the house next to the old gas station.
  2. ^^^ Is that good or bad for us in GR? It's certainly nothing inspirational or cutting/bleeding edge.
  3. Seems like this is a profitable time for producers of beer making equipment...
  4. I assume the building on the corner will be taken down for the new one? Does not seem like the current footprint would allow any of it to be reused...??
  5. And 70% occupancy...that pretty good right? What kind of occupancy was expected/projected? I assume we may see a few more hotels? I wonder how many more rooms the experts say we need?
  6. The old "Old Kent Bank" on Michigan and Lafayette is being torn down after years be used as a construction office. I assume Spectrum Health owns that little piece of land. It's so small, I wonder what it will be?
  7. I assume it will become a very nice food court.
  8. Maybe to fill that soon to be big open space?
  9. That's too bad...my least favorite place that sells coffee. For the aura Gaslight Village likes to portray, this outdated strip mall is very underwhelming.
  10. Are their concrete plans for the building across Wealthy Street Bakery?
  11. Has anyone seen updates on the old McDonalds? I see they busy redoing the building across the street...the butcher shop, correct?
  12. Anyone know what they will do with that shed to the right of the larger build?
  13. I used to work at the Seattle REI...great place and they have a huge following in WA.
  14. Any idea where the Pretzel place is going, inside the market? Also, does anyone know who owns the empty lot east of the market? Seems like a valuable piece of land? Wonder what will eventually go there?
  15. The sign on the 1034 building, the one Atomic Object bought supposedly, is no longer up. Any one know when the current company will vacate and turn it over?
  16. I like GRDad's idea...part park and part building. The PO has to go but 100% park may not be great...besides...you would have the big garage doors of the Convention Center to your left as you look at the river.
  17. Maybe REI will open a flagship store downtown on the river...just think...you could demo kayaks right on the river.
  18. So, it will be just another Alpine or 28th strip mall. Great, another area I don't need to visit. Go downtown!
  19. Will there be any street improvements to Bond Street in back? As some have said, that could be a cool area if it was a pedestrian friendly.
