  5. That's right. The whole reason why I moved to Verdae from Florida in 2017 . And here we are in 2023 still waiting lol.
  6. I'm surprised that Taco Bell Building is still vacant. It closed I think October/November '19. I moved to Tampa, FL in December '19 and just moved back here in January this year. It makes me laugh

  8. I usually fly out one Saturday a month to get to Tampa (Delta via ATL) and said the same thing each time. Flight leaves at 5:30am, so I get there around 4:45am (thanks Pre-Check) and the same for regular security is already popping. I love it

  10. Sent to our assignment desk today. Still a mystery Was on Lauren’s Road heading downtown Saturday and saw Breeze Airlines coming from the North and take a sharp turn over GMU. It was coming from South Bend (according to FlightRadar) with most likely Notre Dame’s Men’s Basketball team. Looked mighty fine in the sharp blue flying low over Greenville.
  11. You can just go across the street to Trailside and get a studio for $1351, 1 bed from $1662-$1920, 2 bed from $1757-$2029, and 3 bed from $2552 lol. Or just go outside the city in Verdae area where they start at $1200.
  12. As a Chick Fil A employer for 10+ years (both in Greenville, Tampa, and Corporate Atlanta), that area will not work. You have them surrounded downtown (Laurens, Haywood, Cherrydale) and will only get foot traffic. Yeah, we have the ones thriving in NYC that are in the city but I don't think Greenville has the population with that. I can see a Target tho. I will give the example of the Boston Target that's next to Fenway Park in downtown. Which if I did hear correctly, that used to be a Staples also

  14. Silver is struggling everywhere. I know a guy here in Tampa (that ironically has a TPA-GSP line, didn't know that) and he heard someone saying that Allegiant (PIE-GSP) is killing them because it's cheaper and more spacious. Little pink flamingos aren't comfy at all haha. I did a 50 minute trip from Tampa to Tallahassee in it and it's horrendous. As for the video, never saw it and just watched it. Looks interested if it's still on schedule.
  15. Whole Foods will definitely have a clientele downtown. However, they really don't build very close to each other. It's been 3 years since I've lived in Greenville, but I believe there was one on Woodruff Road? I was not a fan of them back in the day, but since moving to Tampa last month, I love going there for lunch during my break. Also, depends on the city too. I lived in Tallahassee for the last year and that Whole Foods is not doing well. It's about a 10 min drive from Florida State but still doesn't work out.

  17. Looks like they broke ground on the pedestrian bridge. Other than that, any other updates on this area? I understand this bridge for maybe a "Future" soccer stadium, but for now? Nah.
  18. How are these apartments looking? I haven't seen any photos from anywhere on social media etc. I would think they should be almost done? Surprised they don't even have a website yet to start leasing
  19. My head hurts trying to figure the location out. But with y'all saying Dodge is bottom right, that means Velo Verdae Apartments are the middle white buildings? Then the Middle Left White buildings are Trailside Verdae Apartments? I think I'm right, but want to make sure

  21. Great teams who have great travel fan bases so if it wasn't sold out before then, it would have been sold out 2 minutes after announcement. Going to be great and I can't wait.
  22. I believe it's apartments. Went up XMas week to see friends and we drove around looking at projects and I believe he said they were. Weird location in my opinion; but hey, the city has to grow
  23. Talked to the developers a few days ago and they said the first tenants are moving in June '22.. I was surprised with that answer

  25. I know I said this back in August; but I'm still surprised there isn't a website up to start leasing apartments. I know my apartment here down in Tallahassee put their page up in March '19 and the first people moved in January '20. 10 months before opening. These are coming soon correct? ....Also with the new rule for MiLB teams to be housed, I'm wondering if Red Sox/Drive will get first dibs on housing the team
