  1. I think Eddie Vs restaurant may be part of what is taking the place of H&M https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3704866?page=249&searchText=broadway&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=permitNumber ASC
  2. Does anyone know anything about the gas station at 5 Points putting on a second story? https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3721686?page=3&searchText=1101 woodland&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=dateIssued DESC
  3. Looks like there will be a Zara at the mall. https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3729379?page=250&searchText=2126 abbott martin&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=permitNumber ASC
  4. Sorry if this is a duplicate, but here are the plans for Shotgun Willie's BBQ at 4000 Gallatin Pike in Inglewood. https://epermits.nashville.gov/download.aspx?id=243025
  5. I guess this answers my question about the old Bill Martin's https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/1105-Fatherland-St-Nashville-TN/16971732/
  6. Ahh....I hadn't seen the "For Lease" sign. Interesting. Yes, I'm not sure about the church either....but it's within Edgefield...so options are a little more limited due to zoning.
  7. I've never been to one of their bookstores...but something tells me they do them a little differently.
  8. https://www.geekwire.com/2019/amazon-continues-physical-retail-expansion-plans-new-bookstore-nashville-4-star-store-boston/ Guess I was right...it is a bookstore....
  9. Has anyone heard anything about the old Bill Martin Foods building at 11th and Fatherland? Nashville property records still show the owner as Bill Martin. I was thinking that it actually sold.
  10. Looks like it might be one of their book stores. Here are the plans and it references "book carts" in the drawings. https://epermits.nashville.gov/download.aspx?id=229919
  11. That whole Fern Ave area development has been amazing to watch. It’s been a pretty quick progression, so I’m curious to see how it spreads on Dickerson.
  12. I don't think this has been posted....but it's the plans for the Dunkin Donuts and Chipotle (along with one other open retail spot) on Rosa Parks next to to the Exxon station (where the old Trinity Automotive was). They've demoed the building. I've never seen a Chipotle with a drive thru? But it makes sense in Metro Center. https://epermits.nashville.gov/download.aspx?id=214131
  13. https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3667331?page=555&searchText=2126 Abbott Martin&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=dateIssued ASC
  14. I wonder if this is an Amazon Go store? https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3679994?page=556&searchText=2126 Abbott Martin&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=permitNumber ASC
  15. There has been a permit out there for Colts in the mall. Seems like it was a kiosk....but I can’t remember for sure. I can’t check it at the moment, but I’ll try to look it up later.
  16. https://epermits.nashville.gov/download.aspx?id=200234 I don't think this has been posted yet (if so, I've overlooked it). But, these are the very detailed drawings from GS&P for the retail and food hall portion. I don't think there are any names revealed, but it's interesting to see the layout.
  17. Wow...I really had no idea that it was this far along....and I’m only a few blocks over from this. I don’t think the last picture looks that bad. It appears to be the rear of the townhomes. I think I may go check this out up close today.
  18. True, but my first thought was that we surely aren’t getting something close in size to the world’s largest. But then, I dug a little deeper and see that the one in NYC recently went from 32k sq ft to 77k. So, the Dubai info is outdated anyway. I guess we find out when they tell us....
  19. I was looking and it looks like the permit is for 34,659 sq feet (if I looked at it correctly). I looked up the size of an Apple flagship store. It says the world's largest is in Dubai and it's 40,000 sq ft. So....maybe it's not an Apple flagship? (who knows though).
  20. Ha! Well, I'm glad to know it wasn't completely off the wall. I can see how people would be discouraged by the 8 mile loop. I personally...would rather drive a little longer if it meant I was actually moving....so that doesn't sound all that horrible to me (I do that all the time already in today's traffic realities).
  21. I kind of have this crazy idea that they could create almost a roundabout with the loop that goes around Nashville. I don't know if the entire thing could be capped...but if critical points could be capped...just so there is some type of connection it would help tremendously. If they could use all of the existing lanes and make them go one direction (since it's already basically a circle around downtown) it would keep the traffic flowing. I've never actually seen that done...so I'm sure there are reasons it couldn't be done.
  22. Looks like the permit has been pulled for restaurant (Hawkers) that's going in to the old Family Wash spot on Main. https://epermits.nashville.gov/#/permit/3665392?page=204&searchText=main st&searchCode=ADDR&searchType=permit&orderBy=permitNumber ASC
  23. I know, you’re right it could be worse. Maybe I’m wrong....maybe there is a whole in the market (ha).
