Everything in moderation. I wonder what day and time these people toured the area. Imagine if they made these remarks after a 6-8PM Tuesday outing vs a 12-3AM Saturday/Sunday visit. I recently saw a clip from a certain reality show that focuses on female spouses from a certain Northeastern state. They made the trip down to Nashville and partied at the Nashville Underground. It, unsurprisingly, ended up in a violent outburst and the civilian patrons you can see in the background are barely phased. Tossing drinks and yelling obscenities is nothing for Lower Broad. People have literally died, been sexually assaulted, stabbed, beaten up, shot and had a colostomy bag thrown at them down there.

Lake Michigan to the Gulf of Mexico and all this section of i65 gets is two lanes. It's a joke. There's plenty of land here to expand this bottleneck but we're forced to spend money on interstate expansion elsewhere so sh1tbirds from other counties and states can vroom vroom here faster. The good people of Nashville are being robbed. -
The Transportation and Mass Transit Megathread
grilled_cheese replied to TopTenn's topic in Nashville
I don't want to pay for a trucker bypass. If anything, I want traffic to get worse for the ring counties. The local yokels get to pick one: a domed Oilers stadium or an 840 North loop. Bootstraps, can't always get what you want, etc. -

The Northern loop of 840, in 2003, was estimated at a billion dollars. https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/politics/tn-elections/2018/06/08/diane-blacks-plan-complete-840-loop-similar-1-billion-plan-shelved-2003/683252002/ -

Not shocking that a Habs fan is stuck in the past. -
What's the origin of this word? Can you use it in a sentence? Because I don't understand it.

It is my understanding that Bears people hate the 'alien ship' on top of Soldier Field. They built it because it was a historical landmark and they couldn't bulldoze it but needed to expand. Soldier Field lost it's historical landmark status sometime in the last decade or so and now the ownership group is threatening to move the team out to the exurbs. LOL

Yeah. The 16 year old is telling everyone that each tire costs $100 million and the oil change is $75 million. Classic sales tactic. Don't believe a fvcking got dam word the oilers boomer woman inherited franchise says.
