I believe the red one above the JW is for Tony G’s Alcove. -

So how about that Wawa turkey bowl that I mentioned earlier??
-
Happy to hear this. We have Wawa all over Hampton Roads. I love their turkey bowls at Thanksgiving. They are so good!!

I like how Alcove is making a mark on the skyline. That view will look great once Prime rises abs of course will drastically change once NY is complete and Tony’s 750’ tower.

That’s why I always preferred the 750’ version. The 1,050’ version was too tall for our skyline in my opinion.

Same for me. Late 80’s to early 90’s coming from Clarksville to shop in Nashville. Mostly Hickory Hollow. Also, seeing how prominent Amazon 2 is in the photo helps me to realize how much that side of the skyline will look so different once NY and Tony G’s towers on Church St. are built. -

Are the mullions different colors or is it just the lighting. They kind of have an ombré effect in the last photos.- 827 replies

Saw this on the I Remember Nashville When Facebook page. It’s a trip to 100 Oaks Mall on Sunday, November 14, 1976. I was just a little over a month away from turning 3. Everything looks the same expect for the cars. Once they arrive at the mall, it looks nothing like we know or today. By the time mt family moved to the area in 1988, I don’t think 100 Oaks was much of a destination. At that time, I remember Hickory Hollow being the place to go. On that note, glad to see that it going to be put to a good use that will have staying power.

Is it me, or does the lighting on the pedestrian bridge seem much brighter and whiter? I’m with you though on the dramatic exterior lighting. Heck I’d be happy if they brought the old Batman building lighting back. -

TH I’ve never met you in person, but I always looks forward to your posts on here. I’d wondered why you hadn’t been around much lately. I’m so sorry about the passing of your parents. I can’t imagine. It’s hard for me that my parents are in Tennessee and I’m here in Virginia Beach. I get to see them once or twice a year if I’m lucky. Every time I leave, I can’t help to feel like it could be the last time I see one of them. I hope that you are doing well during such a trying time. Also, it’s nice to see you back.
