    I agree. I was downtown this evening for a meeting. They need to move all the buildings back about 20 feet on each side of Broadway.

    Why wouldn't anybody want that entire area redeveloped? The few times I've driven through there it reminded me of a 3rd world country.

    Why so much extra work. Just build a wall around it and be done with it. All the extra security measures just sounds like more tax payer's dollars.

    They are copying off of West End Summit with the two towers. I really wish they would be original and do something different, like a one story warehouse style office complex where tenants can drive up to their front door.

    Do people still go to flea markets these days? Why not just order from Amazon and save yourself some time? With online shopping, it seems logical to get rid of it altogether and utilize that land for higher tax revenue businesses and venues.

    I would love for my family and friends to be able to afford the room rates downtown instead of staying with me when they come to visit.

    Yeah, but if they stop building them, then people would stay home or go somewhere else. That's my theory.

    No, none of that is still open. They're all country now.

    Diversity to me also means more events, music venues, clubs, bars, etc. where you can hear different genres of music downtown. This is Music City so why can't I go to a nice jazz venue, reggae, hip-hop, Neo Soul, etc. Downtown? There's really no need to go downtown unless you are a fan of country music. So change the description to Country Music City. When I have family or friends visiting from New York and they are under the impression that this is "Music City" and want to go dinner and hear some jazz downtown, there's nothing else offered other than country music.

    I'm considering moving to Atlanta myself. As much as I love Nashville the one thing still very obvious when you go downtown, Green Hills, etc is Nashville's lack of diversity. The city is growing by leaps and bounds, but unfortunately, it's doesn't feel inclusive in my honest opinion.
