  1. I believe the reason for the double height on the ground floor is that the units will be townhouse or loft style, with large windows. You can see the plans in the public files at pgplans.com.
  2. When I lived next door I believe an older doctor or dentist operated from the larger house. Both properties were acquired last year and are owned by ADS of South Florida, Inc., which has a local PO box. I predict a parking lot, but hope to be surprised.
  3. Any idea when this site plan or more HCa details are coming?
  4. Musica was originally planned to have fountains that arched over the roadway, but I believe that wasn't done due to cost and other obvious concerns dealing with vehicles on the road. It seems there's still a plan to add a fountain to the sculpture, though. http://www.fountainsofmusica.com/
  5. Here's the 5th & Main master plan from a while back. http://ydworkshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/5m_masterplan-model.jpg
  6. Would the anti-AMP crowd be more open to eliminated street parking along the route, with curbside stops? Or is availability of on-street parking part of the issue?
  7. There's a demo permit for 2117 Elliston, an older one-story building. http://www.nashville.gov/Portals/0/SiteContent/Codes/docs/permits/kd140304.pdf http://www.hghill.com/leasing/documents/EllistonPlaceBrochure.pdf
  8. Capitol View is on the IDB's agenda for next week. I wonder what the "commerce street venture" is? http://www.nashville.gov/document/ID/0b425cd6-602d-4b66-a7a1-50996d23f21a/Agenda-March-11-2014
  9. This would be my guess too, on the old convention center site. If so, the House of Blues music venue would be expected, and HoB Foundation could successfully have a Nashville initiative/office, bolstering community outreach programs for the adjacent African American music museum. Plus, part of the tower could be a House of Blues hotel, and/or Live Nation offices.
  10. Doesn't seem to be residential since a tenant is mentioned, so I'd guess Eakin, convention center site, or Capitol View.
  11. Cool new townhomes for Archer St. between 12south and the Gulch. http://pgplans.com/viewer/viewer.php?job=444&section=773&file=001A0.00.pdf
  12. This may have already been mentioned but it appears there's a project looming called Music Square Flats. A request to rezone from ORI to SP-R zoning for properties located at 54, 56, 58, 60, 62 and 64 Music Square West, at the northeast corner of Music Square West and Music Square South (1.38 Acres), to permit up to 230 multifamily residential units in a five-story building, requested by Civil Site Design Group, applicant; 66 MSW Partnership, BB & L Enterprises, LLC, and Melrose Properties Partners, owners.
  13. It looks like there's some light demo going on at the Noel entrance today.
  14. I believe Ken's is now going in the planned Nuvo space in the 1100 building, rather than 5th & Main.
  15. Here's the final plat for the North Gulch. Looks like Gay Street is being eliminated in favor of larger blocks. http://maps.nashville.gov/MPC/2014/022714/2014S-026-001_plan.pdf
  16. Here's the plan showing the extended gulch greenway, and a park fronting Division St. http://thegulchinnashville.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/VDowntown4Gulches.pdf
  17. The plans I've seen online show the gulch greenway extending to an area near Magazine Street, where it ends at a small green space.
  18. Here are images of the 1200 Broadway proposal. http://www.cityfeet.com/cont/forsale/ln18104758/1200-broadway-nashville-tn-37203
  19. This project has been reported, but this is the first time I've seen a name and image for Stadium Lofts in Germantown. http://maps.nashville.gov/MPC/2014/010914/2014SP-002-001_plan.pdf
  20. Why does this article say it was to be an office tower? Surely the Tennessean wouldn't goof up such a basic piece of information.
  21. I could be wrong, but I believe the small grey block in the lower right corner is the diner building. That would make sense, since the west facade of the parking structure mentioned earlier faces 3rd Avenue, which would be off the right side of this image.
  22. There is a fence around the former parking garage/Hewgley's Music on the courthouse site. Bet it becomes a parking lot.
  23. Elevations and floor plans for 22nd and State: http://www.pgplans.com/viewer/viewer.php?job=313&section=548&file=22ndandstate11SheetA202Perspectives.pdf
