Today's CBJ - "How Charlotte home-price gains are trending as national pace slows," by Jenna Martin

Excerpt:  "The Case-Shiller report, released Tuesday, pegged local home-price growth in April at 4.2% year over year — higher than the national annual gain of 3.5% as well as gains experienced by the 10-city composite, 2.3%, and the 20-city composite, 2.5%."  ... "Those price-acceleration rates, however, are noticeably down from a year ago.  The national growth rate in April 2018, for instance, was 6.4%.   And the pace at which Charlotte's housing prices grew a year ago was 6%.  Of the 20 cities tracked by Case-Shiller, there were just four markets in April with annual gains higher than that seen in Charlotte:  Atlanta, 4.9%;  Tampa, Florida, 5.6%;  Phoenix, 6%; and  Las Vegas, 7.1%." ... "Zillow economist Matthew Speakman said in a statement on the latest Case-Shiller results, 'This slowdown has been widely expected for some time, and is likely to give many would-be buyers some much-needed breathing room.  Prices will continue to grow, just not at the unsustainable rates of the past several years.'"

I can categorically deny this announcement has anything to do with Krispy Kreme however our newest location on Concord Mills Blvd will open July 16.  We welcome any company that provides the occasional doughnuts to their employees along with coffee to the region.

There's been a lot of Tepper talk lately.  Development around the stadium, MLS by end of year, a lot of different rumblings.  Exoskeleton dome/partial cover over BOA stadium?

Doesn't fit the Home Improvement GIF and prob isnt this, but a lot of Tepper talk nonetheless lol.

I doubt it has anything to do with development around the stadium...only because I would think eventually we get a new football stadium....who knows where that will end up??

Tepper is pitching to MLS expansion committee on July 15th.

there are so many clues in the last 2 hours about what company is involved a blind man could see it.  (and no offense to my cousin who is blind or anyone visually impaired) 

and has nothing to do with doughnuts and you can take that to the bank (and it does not involved one of those either)
