You rock!

Got any pics of the East bay?

I hiked up to the top of a hill out near Colma. its basicly up the back of Oakland. the hike is through a suprising redwood forest, and at the top you can look down on oakland and SF in the background.

one of the best combinations of raw nature and urbanity in the world in my opinion.

There is a tiny town near there thats in the forest that is some kind of hippy enclave. totally in the middle of a forest in the middle of a massive metro.

Thanks VOICE OF REASON...Pics of the East Bay are coming in a couple of weeks. Even I sometimes need a change of scenery, though--SF never grows boring. Where's this hippy town that I would love to visit? I know of one with lots of hippies called Bolinas. It's so hushed-up that there are no direction signs to its almost hidden world off the Northern Cal coast out of dense woods...
