Creativity Explored on 16th Street between Dolores and Guerrero is the home of a diverse group of studio artists who have developmental disabilities and interests in art. Many of students experience additional disabilities such as mental illness, emotional disturbances, and/or physical disabilities...I love going there to view their artwork...

I read a post about showing the growth of your town "then" and "now" at another forum here at UP, but have forgotten where...so here's San Francisco in 1947, 1955 compared to what it looks like today. The SF 2007 panaroma shot was photomerged for the last two hours in PhotoShop...my first merge work, so its quite an amateur thing...

Built 1928 between The Castro and The Haight facing Buena Vista Park, the former St. Joseph's Hospital was converted to condominiums some years ago.

After Saturday's drizzles that became a hard downpour in the afternoon and evening, Sunday was gloriously picture-perfect, and Dolores Park quickly filled up with sunworshippers...
