It really does look different. It took me a min to think about it. I was thinking "Montreal? No. Columbus? No."

Then I recognized the tallest building (don't know it's name) and the left most tallish one (black & white stripes) and thought "I've seen these before."

Speaking of the devil, THERE'S Columbus! lol

That performing arts center in the foreground looks somewhat similar to NJPAC in Newark.

Metropolitan, you got it! This is the New Orleans skyline in 1919:

The wide street running through the city in the middle of the image is Canal Street, you can see the Mississippi River off in the distance, and the crescent in the river along the French Quarter, the namesake for the city's nickname "The Crescent City."

The streetscape was indeed from Boston. The North End to be exact.

I love the North End. I once lived at Endicott and Thatcher Streets. It's still a great neighborhood with lots of local color in spite of yuppie incursions.
