I like it. Greektown is definitely my favorite. The base will look really great in Greektown, and the tower should be a nice contrast in the sky as you're walking around the area.

I can't tell what the glass will look like though. The rendering confuses me. I'm guessing those are window blinds or something.

The lobby on http://www.rossetti.com/ is pretty interesting (it looks cool, although I really have no idea what it actually is. Some kind of hologram or something).

That's the only rendering the casino will provide the public, and a very poor one at that. Believe my, I've tried to get sometehing more realistic, and that's all they are willing to reveal. It's not even a good rendering, or look anything like what they are building.

Was zooming by the Greektown site today, surprised to see about 2 levels of parking wall above the ground. Some update, I know, but seeing it up against the Monroe streetside, it really brings back the excitement of having a built up streetwall again.

I should be downtown again on Sunday, so I'll be sure to post a progress photo or two, unless someone can beat me to it in the mean time (preferred). ;)

With all that goes on in Greektown, aren't some of the surface lots in the area attractive to developers? I mean I think those lots would be golden opportunities for a residential building (or whatever) with entertainment, and restaurants in such close distance. I guess I'm asking, how come these lots haven't been developed any better than this?

The crane looks much shorter than what will be required to build the hotel, in the one of the previous pictures if you compare the crane to the BCBS building, it only goes up 75% of the way and the greektown hotel will be slightly taller than the Blue Cross/Blue Shield building.
